Leadership~Day 3!!

The last day of Leadership was hands down the MOST exciting!!  Lots of new changes announced and lots of motivating classes!  Best of all - more prize patrol!  We got all kinds of free stuff!  Here are all the free goodies we received the past 3 days!! 

We also went to the Grand Ole Opry and saw Lee Brice, Rodney Atkins, Vince Gill and Charley Pride among many others!

Leadership ~ Day 2!!

Day 2 of Leadership was super exciting!  Swaps are always the highlight of any Stampin' Up! get together!  I made 40 of this card:

and got 40 different cards in return!

I also made 40 of these flowers for a 3-d swap and got 40 more 3-d items...

 
I couldn't believe it...I was out of swaps BEFORE the main stage event!!  Next time I'll have to TONS more!!

After all our classes, Stampin' Up treated us to a very nice dinner and then the party started!  Stamping, demonstrations, momento mall and lots of displays to look at!  This is just ONE of the many displays.  This one is acutally named the "Wall of Wonder".  These projects were all made by the employees at Stampin' up!  They got VERY creative! Check out that black and white picture on the top row...can you tell that it's Shelli's face?  Can you believe that it is made with glimmer brads!?!?!?  AMAZING!!

  Here's me in front of Momento Mall where we could purchase all kinds of SU logo items!  We waited ALL day to get into Momento Mall and when it finally opened, we had to wait for our assigned colors to be called!!  I was in one of the last groups but luckily they had plenty still available!

Leadership 2011 ~ I'm Back!!!

Okay, so I took my laptop with me to Nashville in hopes of blogging every days' events with you but YEAH RIGHT!!!  Our schedules were JAM PACKED and as soon as we got back to the hotel room each night, it was time to hit the hay so we could do it all over again the next day!!  Like I said, each day was jam packed with swapping, classes, HUGE announcements, prize patrol and more!! It was SO exciting being there with 999 other super excited Stampin' Up Leaders!

I got on the first flight on Wednesday leaving Lubbock at 6:30am and got to Nashville at 11:00!  We had time to walk around our hotel...the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Conference Center...AMAZING!!  Well, really...we had time to get LOST!  Here are some pictures of the Resort...when they give you maps at check-in...its probably a hint that you'll need it!

 

Then...I met up with the almost 500 demonstrators for the Manager's Reception!  This is a perk for only those who have reached the title of Manager and above so my roomies didn't make it this year but I'm sure they will for next year!  The only hint we got was an invitation in the mail that Stampin' Up! was treating us to a "Night in Nashville".  I was SO EXCITED to learn that we were going to the WILDHORSE SALOON...one of the places on my list to do!  Here were some highlights...Food, Dancing and Fellowship!

and...one last treat for the night...when the buses brought us back to the hotel...they had these waiting for us...our SUPER cute leadership bags and a stamp set that I can't reveal because it will not be available until our new Idea Book and Catalog come out in July! 

That's it for Wednesday!  With 2 hours sleep the night before, I got a REALLY good night's sleep!  Stay tuned for more leadership highlights!
